The National Fluoride Information Centre - an answering machine in an abandoned building! The most successful hoaxers rely on their victims being willing and gullible enough to deceive themselves. The most startling example is the selling of the fluoridation myth to the dental profession. Department of Health hype, liberally funded by taxpayers' money, created the National Fluoride Information Centre. Its pro-fluoridation propaganda has persuaded scientifically illiterate Health Service staff to swallow the propaganda pouring from the pro-fluoride spin machine.. In reality, there is no 'Centre' in Manchester University's Coupland 3 Building,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the official address of the NFIC. Despite spending £1.3 million renovating the building ten years ago, the School of Pharmacy moved out in 2007, because the building was rejected as being 'unfit for modern science', and the building remains virtually abandoned. The dynamic heart of this illustrious 'National Centre' is in fact an empty but securely locked room - on its dusty desk is nothing but a telephone answering machine.
